i love the "laugh-in" and "bewitched" polaroids. how does she make them? great web site, btw.
ReplyDeletegecker's site, i mean.
ReplyDelete(but the old gold is cool, too.)
yeah those are nice little gems. she's got some serious love for goldie. i'm not exactly sure how they're done, maybe she'll let us know...
ReplyDeleteThanks dubz! I'm glad you like them. I collage photos on top of the polaroids. It's really fun but I'm not sure what I'll do now that polaroid film is gone.
ReplyDeleteyou could scan a polaroid as a template and place digital images inside the frame, maybe? not the same in person but as jpegs they'd still be cool.
ReplyDeletebuy as much as you can now and freeze it.
ReplyDeletethese are SO nice-- i esp. like the last, blue piece. Can I see them in person next time we're in town?!!

ReplyDeletehi james e!
ReplyDeleteHey dubz thanks for the idea. never thought of doing another format in the same genre, I am sort of doing that in the paintings but sans frame-i like its possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI think the freezing thing sounds good too, I used to refrigerate all the film but freezing sounds way better. thanks PB!
Hey gianna, thanks! come on over anytime...let's make a plan! good luck with the show this weekend.
